So you’ve gotten rid of the FireWire 400 port and now you’re migrating all your machines to the mini display port?
That sure is some “pro” you’ve got there jobs.
Hey, Jobsy can’t help that we’re still operating in 2005, or that we think FireWire400 is perfectly useable or don’t want to invest hundreds/thousands to upgrade old drives…
Really, *no* FireWire 400? dick move…
I don’t think he’s stuck in 2005, rather in 2075. Jobs despises ports/buttons. He wants to simplify the computer until you’re actually physically manipulating data with your hands.
It’s an understandable goal, and I think the right move for apple. They’re good at being the vanguard of technology. But to force this uber simplicity on their entire portable product line seems unnecessary and detrimental to anyone looking to use this machine for any sort of video production.
Re-read my reblog. That was my point YOU and I are stuck in 2005. Jobsy can’t help that. He’s got VISION.
or something.
I shouldn’t fire off my reblogs as fast. sorry about that.
