LEScentric: Sad news for my fellow New Yorkers and expats. Stefan Lutak, the longtime bartender at Holiday Cocktail Lounge, has passed away. Lutak, a Ukranian immigrant, was a survivor of Stalingrad and poured the Wild Turkey 110 nice and strong. His bar was one of the LES’ best-known dives and, man… I loved (and still love) it. RIP.
A Stalingrad survivor. You don’t hear that often enough.
